Brief: Design a unique activity kit from concept to product with cohesive branding and professional packaging

Process: I chose the stab stitch kit because of the joy that I experienced in making them myself. I wanted to share the intimacy of being able to create your own booklet for fun or friends. I decided that I wanted the packaging to be as eco-friendly as possible, so I created sleeves to wrap around each individual piece and used a QR code on the inside of the box, linked to a YouTube tutorial, for instructions instead of a paper pamphlet. I chose a playful but bold font for the brand to grab attention but keep it light. I chose a dark and textured background to mimic fabric and bring in a sense of craftsmanship to the kit while using the inverse colors for the slips to create cohesion and contrast. I hand crafted the kit to be as ready-to-use as possible and had fun making this!

Results: I ended up with a fully usable and ready to ship kit with a digital tutorial that friends and family enjoyed creating with.
